Welcome to the RaeDaLo Ranch “About Us” page, where Texas Longhorn meets Southeast Iowa. Years ago down in Fort Worth I had my first encounter with the infamous Texas Longhorn and was blown away at how majestic these things looked. Decades later after getting out of the Army and living in Iowa with our young family, it just so happened our neighbor ran Longhorn.
Covid hit, our neighbors processing facility closed down, and so he offered as many heifers to us as we wanted. We picked out our three favorites and they joined our sheep on our 40 acres parcel (pictured on the right). We call th
